Shamara Group is involved in large-scale projects, with proven achievements, in water infrastructure construction and maintenance, including water transmission pipelines and concrete water reservoirs (ground and elevated), in addition to related works such as booster pumps and chlorination units. The Group has executed the following projects in Iraq:

- AL-Knafsa Water Network-Iraq,2004: The scope of work was to Design, construction, and execution of 180 Km ductile iron pipeline at different sizes (110 – 1000) mm with H.D.E.P pipes from size (110mm – 800mm).

- AL-Remtha Water project-Iraq, 2005 : The scope of work was to design, construction, and execution of 91 Km ductile iron pipeline at different sizes (300 – 1800) mm with water treatment plant of (10000) m3/hr capacity.

- AL-Githera Water Network-Iraq,2005: The scope of work was to design, construction, and execution of 95 Km ductile iron pipeline at different sizes (110 – 1800) mm with H.D.E.P pipes from size (110mm – 1000mm).

- AL Fadlyaa water project-Iraq,2007: The scope of work was to design, construction, and execution of 55 Km ductile iron pipeline at different sizes (500 – 1200) mm with water treatment plant of (5000)m3/hr capacity.

- MBR Plants (joint venture with Moya Dayen L.L.C for Gulf Region),2008: A membrane bioreactor (MBR) is a waste water treatment process that can be coupled with a biological nutrient removal and physiochemical process to meet the need for supporting the Water Quality Improvement Act. These projects are:

- Design and Build of MBR Sewage Treatment Plant for Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO),Bahrain.

- Upgrading of Existing MBR STP to 1,000m3/day for Ministry of Water, Electricity and Housing at Marmul, Oman.
